We love to showcase our couples and their real Long Island weddings.
Last March with the snow still on the ground, Stephanie and Jack braved the late spring cold for a fabulous day at Leonard’s Palazzo.
Like nearly 70% of today’s couples, Jack & Stephanie decided to have both the ceremony and reception at the same place. Because we have the perfect locations for everything from getting dressed to the ceremony and reception, they never had to deal with anything short of perfection!
Stephanie and her ladies enjoyed the privacy and sunshine of our luxury bridal suite while the gentlemen were kicked back in their own private space.
Their wedding ceremony was held just a short walk away in one of the several spaces at Leonard’s that work perfectly for ceremony seating.
After the ceremony, the happy couple and their wedding party were whisked away for some formal portraits.
Meanwhile, their guests were delighted with a lavish cocktail hour buffet. One of the highlights was a jumbo shrimp cocktail display on a lighted ice carving. Also included were carving stations, passed hor d’oeuvers, charcuterie, and a seasonal fruit display.
The reception was held in the Continental Ballroom and I must say it may never have looked lovelier. Of course, it helps when you have the fabulous skills of Metro Floral Decorators working their magic on the floral decor.
Following a beautifully plated 3 course dinner, everyone’s sweet tooth was quenched with not only this stunning cake from Francesco’s but also a full Venetian Hour and a cordial bar.
Of course, no wedding at Leonard’s Palazzo is complete without a stunning portrait on our one of a kind staircase.
We hope you have enjoyed this little trip down memory lane. For your own spectacular Leonard’s Palazzo wedding, give us a call today to set up your own tour. We would love to talk to you. 516-487-7900
